Phase 1: Initial Cleanup
Important Fact: Removing water quickly lessens the impact of water damage.

  • If you can safely turn off the water, please do so. 
  • If you can safely remove any furniture that is sitting in water, that would be good to do and would lessen the damage to your furniture.

Removing water is important, but is is equally important to make sure the once the water has been removed, that the affected materials are effectively dried.  SERVPRO of Jackson and Madison County take multiple steps to ensure your home is free of moisture.

  • Extraction: get the water out!
  • Set dehumidifiers to remove moisture in the air
  • Set air movers to get the air circulating around to promote drying
